Sensazão Frequently Asked Questions

I can't dance! But I want to workout! Can this class help me?

Absolutely! As with most things the first time is the hardest, but we mix easy to follow, repetitive moves with a little more choreography to keep your body and mind challenged. Just keep coming to class and you will start burning more calories every time!
While it is not required to be your first class, we do offer free Intro to Sensazao classes on the first Saturday of the month. We encourage you bring a friend or family member so that you can both be introduced to Sensazao's original routines and become familiar with our style. If you can't make it to these, we have many Intro to Sensazão classes available online.
The most important part is to get out of the house and sweat! Go at your own pace, feel the music and let us do the rest!

Do I need prior dance experience?

Do I sign up ahead of time or just show up?

If it is your first time, you can create your account online with the link below.  This will save you a few minutes once you get to the studio.  If you are already a member and have your account set up online, you can only sign up ahead of time for select classes and workshops. Online signup is not required, but if you use it make sure you let front desk know.

What should I wear? Can I use my running shoes?

We recommend comfortable and breathable clothes, and workout shoes. For information about which shoes to use you can watch the following video:

How much are the classes?

Drop-in/walk-in/trial rate is $10 per person.  Get our class passes for a great deal! 5 classes for $35, 10 classes for $65 and 20 classes for $120. And for our committed crowd: Unlimited monthly pass for $150: Take all the classes you want within a month (picture required at the time of purchase). For details like expiration dates visit our PRICING page.

How early should I arrive before each class?

We suggest giving yourself at least 10 min to fill out the waiver of liability form and pay for your class.

Is there parking?

We do have parking, however, we share our parking spaces with the other business in the building.  It can get crowded.  If you can carpool with some friends or take public transportation that's awesome.  We do advice coming as early as possible so you can find a spot.
